Purchase & Refund Terms

These Purchase & Refund Terms apply when you buy training or services from Kestrel Assurance Pty Ltd. They form part of our Terms of Service.

1. Prices & GST

• Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Where GST applies, tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Amounts are handled via Stripe Tax, and a compliant tax invoice is issued for each purchase.

2. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. Your purchase is confirmed once payment succeeds and access is granted to your account.

3. On-demand course access

• On-demand courses are licensed for a fixed access period(typically 12 months from purchase), after which access ends unless renewed.
• Access is personal to the purchasing user or firm seat.
• Completion certificates are available once the course and assessment are finished.

4. Subscriptions & retainers

• Firm e-learning subscriptions and Module B managed-compliance retainers renew on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• You can cancel a recurring plan before the next renewal via your account’s billing portal or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Retainer engagements are also governed by their engagement letter.

5. Refunds & your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to a remedy as required by law. In addition, as a matter of policy:

• Digital courses: because access is granted immediately, refunds are generally not available once you have begun a course, except where required by law (for example, a failure to meet a consumer guarantee). If a course does not work as described, contact us and we will make it right.
• Live events: if we cancel a scheduled webinar or bootcamp, you may choose a rescheduled session or a refund.
• Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded on request.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at hello@kestrelassurance.com.au so we can resolve it quickly.
